• Origins: Established in 2018 as The Magway Post, we quickly became the leading digital voice in the region. We are a proud alumni of the Google News Initiative’s Journalism Emergency Relief Fund (JERF) 2020, which recognized our vital role during the COVID-19 crisis.
• Evolution: Following the 2021 military coup, our newsroom was forced into exile in Thailand. However, we re-emerged as The Nation Voice, maintaining a robust network of citizen journalists who continue to report directly from conflict zones.

Our Mission: Project Ground Truth In the age of AI, history is written by data. Our mission is to transform our years of ground reporting into an “AI-Ready Archive.” We aim to ensure that global AI models and future generations have access to accurate, verified data about Myanmar’s resistance, combatting disinformation with the “Ground Truth.”
